Canine and Feline
Dental Disease Module

I am excited to work with the University of Georgia Educational Resources Center (UGA ERC) to create a learning module for the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (UGA CVM). My master’s project work started in the fall of 2023 as I selected a topic, worked with my content advisors, and prepared my proposal.

Contributing to the UGA ERC and CVM is also a personally meaningful opportunity and privilege. I first visited the ERC in my junior year of high school (2017) in hopes of learning more about medical illustration. This inspired the solidification of my choice to pursue a BFA in science illustration (UGA 2022) and a graduate degree in medical illustration (Augusta University, MCG 2024). Working on this master’s project is a full-circle experience; I am excited to be able to give back to my alma mater and create a tool for veterinary students.

You may flip through my proposal document for a more detailed look at where this project began and why it is a contribution to the field of biocommunication!
